Purchasing this service entitles you have all of the electrolytic capacitors in your Sega Nomad console replaced. If you are having issues low audio and/or a dim screen, then it is very likely that the capacitors are the culprit. Alternatively, you can have the service done as a precautionary measure since the capacitors are starting to fail in these consoles.

We will replace all of the capacitors with high quality ones manufactured by Würth, Panasonic, and Nichicon purchased from trusted distributors. We want your Nomad to work for many more years.

Please note that if there is an issue with your Nomad that the recap service does not fix, then we will diagnose the issue and send you a repair quote if the parts are available. If you do not approve the repair or if the parts are not available, then we will ship your Nomad back in its current state. No refunds will be given for a completed recap service.
